Little Flower Mission League is a lay organization whose mission is to foster missionary spirit in children by following the example of St. Thérèse of Lisieux.
About Us
LFML was founded at St. Mary's Syro Malabar Catholic Church in 2016. We started with a group of 30 students. The organization has grown to now have around 70 students from the grades 4th to 12th.
All the members gather every Saturday after mass for a 30-minute session during whichthey reflect on their personal spiritual growth through Holy Mass, bible reading, prayer, helping others, and sacrifice. There have also been additional activities for the members after the gathering including sports and volunteer opportunity. The members have helped weed thegardens in the front of the church and organize the mass books in the church.
There were many other activities that were organized for the mission league members including an Easter Egg Hunt,
Bible Quizzes, and Saint presentations. One of the biggest activities that Mission League was able to conduct was a pilgrimage to the Basilica of St. Thérèse of Lisieux in San Antonio. Around 48 students and parents were able to come on the pilgrimage and went to the Basilica and prayed together and attended mass there. Afterwards, everyone went to see the Alamo and a Tea Garden before returning to Houston.

Suffering
And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

OUR TEAM
The Director of LFML is our Pastor, Rev. Fr. Jobi Joseph Chelakunnel. The Assistant Director is Rev. Sr. Agnes Maria MSMI. There are Youth Animators who help the directors and the youth leaders. The youth leaders are in charge of leading weekly meetings, monthly game times, bible or saint based quizzes, planning and organizing fundraising events, and leading socials.
